About MAMS

Our Staff

We place as much importance on our staff as we do our customers – and we endeavour to create a pleasant, honest and safe working environment together with a culture of trust, honesty and respect.

Our Customers

WE have been active community members since the beginning in 1977. In this time, we have proudly supported charity organisations, schools, local supporting teams, events, businesses and the general communities of the Hinchinbrook and Cassowary Coast regions.

Our History

MAMS Group began as Ingham Earthmoving focusing on Mill Mud and Fly Ash disposal, civil construction, earthmoving and plant hire. During the 1990s the MAMS Group entered the waste industry and has grown into the waste and recycling powerhouse seen today.

MAMS first introduction into the waste industry was in 1995 when we were awarded the Hinchinbrook Shire Council Refuse Removal Contract. Through a competitive tender process MAMS was awarded this contract again in 2005 and has now been providing waste services to the Hinchinbrook Shire Council for 25 years.

In 2016, MAMS expanded its services into the Cassowary Coast Region. We now manage and operate seven transfer stations and landfill sites from Cardwell to Innisfail for the Cassowary Coast Regional Council, as well as providing domestic, commercial and industrial waste services in Cardwell, Tully, Mission Beach and Innisfail.

MAMS waste strategy is to align with the QLD Government waste reduction strategy and operates Buyback Tip Shops in the Cassowary Coast Region at Stoters Hill Waste Facility, Tully Waste Facility, Mission Beach & Cardwell Transfer Stations.
